After the accidental death of her mother, Ida moves in with her aunt Bodil and her three sons, who are already grown up but all still live at home: Jonas, Mads and David. Ida has had little contact with her aunt and cousins until now. This does not stop Bodil from welcoming her niece with open arms. David, Jonas and Mads also immediately take their cousin to their hearts. Ida soon notices, however, that the exuberant cordiality also has a downside. The family sticks together, but the three sons are controlled by their mother, because they are all in the service of the family business: Bodil runs a nightclub and lends money on a large scale on the side. Her sons are responsible for collecting money, if necessary by force. It doesn't take long before Ida is also drawn into Bodil's machinations. But things don't go as smoothly as expected.
